Christ is born! Glorifiy Him!
Happy Feast of the Nativity, according to the flesh, of Our God, Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Lead me on the path of salvation, o Mother of God, for I have profaned my soul with shameful sins.
@4 months ago with 1 noteA Merry Christmas to those who celebrate the Nativity in this night, according to the New Calendar. I beseech your holy prayers, and will remember you all in my unworthy ones.

“You know, if you just set out to be liked, you would be prepared to compromise on anything, wouldn’t you, at any time? And you would achieve nothing!”
It is disgusting that people are celebrating Margaret Thatcher’s death. Jokes about her death are distasteful, but to celebrate it is simply disrespectful. Regardless of political affiliation, we should remember that she was a person; a mother and grandmother.
Margaret Thatcher changed our country. Whether it was for the better or for the worst is irrelevant. Respect her work for our country. Respect her as a person. Allow her to rest in peace.
The Theotokos is our Advocate and the Terror of Demons
“Despite the fact that Satan seduced Eve and lured Adam into the same sin, God not only gave us a Redeemer who by dying defeated death, but in the person of the Woman, the Mother of God, Mary ever-Virgin, who crushed in herself and the whole human race the head of the serpent, he lent us an indefatigable advocate before his Son, Our God, an invincible litigant for the most obdurate sinners. It is because of this that she is called “the Terror of demons,” for it is impossible for the devil to cause a man to perish as long as the latter has recourse to the help of the Theotokos.” - St. Seraphim of Sarov
Kontakion to the Mother of God
A tempest of misfortunes descendeth upon us. Save us who are perishing! Save us, O deliverance of those who suffer from misfortunes, crushing the destructive storm down to the earth and accepting our hymn: Alleluia!

This photo is so cute! May God bless this little girl and her family, and may Theotokos protect her!
